Yeah, so...

...I'm a teacher now.

Shit.

I feel like it's just hit me how much I don't know. Funny, after graduating and starting work it strikes me as only now will the real learning begin. I survived the first week pretty well, but the overwhelming feeling is that this year is gonna be one steep learning curve.

It's Saturday night and I sit here at home with a cup of tea and a Chemistry text book. What a life.

At least someone paid me this week. That's been a while coming.

Monster Cross Epiphany

Rode the Cross Czech today on loose, dusty singletrack. It felt dodgy at first, but somewhere along the way something clicked. I found myself riding down in the drops lots, and going fast. I was still way off mountain bike pace, but was having a ball. I feel this bike is going to get ridden quite a bit this year.

...amongst lots of great presents I've received lately, these today really made me smile. Made just for me, and I guess the smile was very much because of the person who made them for me...
