As you saw on MTBR, it's a magic gear - I got very lucky! Test ride soon, although I'm pretty sure it's going to get the rigid fork too...
Sneaky, thanks, yeah, I think it was the right choice, and this certainly helps make up for it - for the non bike geeks, I was able to convert the bike in the pics into a singlespeed, which means my favourite bike just got more versatile!
Cascadian - lol, yep, am thinking the same - although it is DAMN FUN to ride like this too.
This snowy public holiday will see me liberate the rigid fork from the Rig frame (now for sale, btw, any takers...?) and as I have two lower bearing races for the headset, it should be a fast and easy swap.

Hey Kurisu,
How did you get the chain tension, magic gear or FC EBB? Nice looking Bander anyway, the one of the happiest Vassago in Japan, I believe.
Kaki Mr. No brakes DID brake his chain at the CX this time... Mr. no chain this time., AyhO!

Good decision, albeit disappointing.

She's perty. Just need to firm up the front end a bit and it'll be ready to roll! ;-)
