What goes up....

must come down.

Well, it finally happened. A big crash on the bike. Two Saturdays ago I tried jumping, and I over-jumped and over-rotated on one, and came down on my head and shoulder. This is what it looked like a few days later.

It's not all bad news though, I have a new hobby now, taking pictures of the changing colours of my arm.

I managed to ride in a team cross-country race this weekend with the help of pain-killers, and it felt OK. I didn't seem to aggravate it, anyway.

More about this weekend in the next post.

Okazaki Vibes

I now live in Okazaki City, a little more "tokai" (big smoke) than Susono was. So much so it even has its own castle. Plus traffic. Enjoy.

Only in Japan

version four million, three hundred and twenty nine thousand, six hundred and fourty two.

A handicapped parking space for a bicycle??? I'm looking forward to seeing how this one works....just for the record, this was at a train station, with two big flights of stairs being the ONLY way to reach the platform.

remember me?

Been a long time. I'm now starting to get settled in the new place, and am slowly returning to connectivity. I have some photos of my recent travels and antics, they will be coming soon. Sorry for the long delays.
