Back in the Saddle (again)
New bar arrived today, after a quick date with a pipe cutter and some paint stripper, it got bolted on, and, whaddyaknow, it works.
I'm used to a bit more sweep than this, but for the price, I can't complain. First test ride said it was (no surprise) stiffer than the carbon bar, but in many cases I think that's not a bad thing (least of all breaking). Steering was definitely snappier. I like it.
Only rode for an hour - arm hurt a bit from the jolting. To be expected, I think. Still got big scabs, but am getting there. Just a matter of days now.
Trails are soooo dusty and dry. It's like trying to ride on ball bearings mixed with talcum powder. Good to get out however the karma gods got me again - flat tyre. Sheesh.

I like the handmade head badge, far better than the original.

HI Aki!
Lol, the 'handmade headbadge' is the original paint that was under the real headbadge! It fell off a few weeks ago.
It's a fuzzy purple GF symbol, I may leave it...maybe.
