Seafood Heaven

was the name of the restaurant I went to last weekend. I went with students, a summer party of sorts. This is what they served first.

not sure if it was heaven or....just kidding, the meat that came off this tuna head was amazingly delicious.

Got in last night. Good to be back. Had a great trip though. Three and a half days, lots of sunshine (a bit too much really, but bettter than rain!), two MTB hills, one old Japanese village, one VERY winding, mountainous, vertigo inducing mountain road, one crash (on the bike), and not many photos. We were too busy having fun, but I did get a few. Check them out.

Road Trip time...

Off again - to the other side of central Japan. MTB, of course. Will post more when I get back, but for now, here's a picture of the rig all ready to go.

I rode the hiking trail along Ashinoko yesterday. Was great, with a swim near the finish. I think I'll let the photos speak for themselves...




I didn't get photos of the magic single track that is this trail, because I was too busy fanging along it on my bike wearing a grin from ear to ear.
